.
Revised charges will apply from 1st September:
30p per mile but with a minimum charge of £1 per journey, and a maximum of £7.50 (eg for a return journey from Seil to Oban)
Lots more news in the Seilachan if you haven't read it, including info on the future of the 418 bus service. (Apologies for the late appearance of the digital edition this month - I've been away sailing).

Re: Car Scheme
The car scheme needs all locals and friends to vote for it in a bid to get £6000 from RBS towards running costs, council funding having been cut. Please vote at the following site http://www.rbs.co.uk/communityforce
Thanks!
P.S. I'm not one of the scheme organisers, just a sympathetic local!

I've voted. You have to register first, but it only takes a few minutes.
The actual page to vote for the Car Scheme is http://communityforce.rbs.co.uk/project/24
We'll need to get a lot of votes out . . . the Car Scheme has 18 votes at the moment, others have hundreds, so spread the word.
