Seil Chat

Hi everybody!

After moving away from Seil just ten months ago, I am planning to return, hopefully within the next few months.
I shall be looking to form a new band playing R.E.M. songs.
I am an accomplished drummer but on this occasion I will be taking on the role of vocalist, therefore I am looking for a drummer, guitarist, bass player and keyboard player. Obviously must be into the band R.E.M.!!!
Just looking to play the usual local gigs for pleasure and the odd drink or two....

If anybody is interested or even knows anybody who may be interested, then please drop me a line.

can play guitar , but only have a wee cheap acoustic , like rem and even went to see them a few years ago in glasgow green in a tent on a really wet night , if yer thinking of a covers band maybe broaden the playlist a bit , but might be a good idea , keep me posted on what you wanna do i might be up for a challenge , although i do like to play a "heavier " tune or 2

Hey, thanks for the reply. I will definitely keep you posted. The R.E.M. thing came about because I think they are a great band and after 38 years of playing drums in various rock bands I thought that taking on the guise of my favourite vocalist could be good fun!! Definitely got the Stipe moves and trademark warble, oh and the shaved head ha ha.
Anyway, hope to be visiting Seil in July, maybe before if my house sells and I move back sooner. We could perhaps meet up in the T&T.
