Raera rejected

The outcome of the Raera Windfarm hearing today was a unanimous rejection of the proposal by the Council. Of course, an appeal by the developers is pretty inevitable but it was interesting that the rejection was on the grounds of the inappropriate siting and scale of the development. These grounds would seem to be even more relevant to the Clachan development.

Can we say that, for once, common sense prevails with A&BC?
(Or am I being too optimistic here?)

Was there at meeting and among reasons for rejecting raera were things like it it being visible from the Scarba, Lunga & Garvellachs national scenic area ... surely something that'll he a hurdle for any other proposed wind farms too?
