Innes,
Please list your top ten reasons why you think an independent Scotland would NOT be a success.
(Real reasons please, not incoherent appeals to emotion)

Why not answer the questions on the honesty and integrity of the Yes Campaign (for your own benefit)?NickB wrote:.

I could argue thus:
Darling has led a campaign with the whole might of the British establishment on his side, he was also seeking to maintain the existing status quo, and through his incompetence he has lost what should have been a simple task to win
Salmond, on the other hand has led a campaign that was initially a dream in the minds of a few forward thinkers to the brink of achieving that dream.
Who do you think would be the more effective in governing Scotland?
And yes we did all go down to the pub!!

As for Salmond, let us be quite clear that he is NOT the leader of the YES campaign, any more than David Cameron is the leader of the NO campaign. Salmond will be judged by history, not by you or the Daily Mail.
Now, back to you. You are continually telling us that Scotland is better as part of the UK and that it will fail ('two tier Britain' etc) if it becomes independent.
Yet you have not advanced one single coherent reason for this irrational belief.
Time to put up or shut up. Give me ten reasons why an independent Scotland will fail. You could start perhaps with one of your favourites, that we are all a nation of ungrateful whingers and moaners.
No, Innes, I don't question the integrity of the YES campaign. It is largely a grassroots, non-party-political campaign and is positively bursting with integrity. If you actually opened your eyes and had a look around at what the YES campaign is doing and saying you would realise this.Innes Newton wrote:Don't you question the integrity of the Yes Campaign and its leaders at all?

I've just given you 12, which you will no doubt poo-poo out of hand without responding with 12 reasons as to why I am wrong.Give me ten reasons why an independent Scotland will fail.
Now
So the Yes Campaign is telling the Scottish Electorate it will be better out of the UK, and it will succeed. What are the reasons for this far fetched belief? Now, back to you.
