Thought the questionnaire was for us to express our opinions. Still, maybe you think putting your views on the chat forum will make a difference instead. Never mind, good on yer.

 8) Aye, OK. :) 8)

And, Nick B, when eventually you do receive your copy of the Seilachan along with its hard copy of the questionnaire, maybe you might understand why those of us who had already received the stuff some time ago and had thought at length about it, might have wondered what your original entry, with no explanation or hot link, was about....?

The aim of the questionnaire was to try to do something positive for the community. However successful or unsuccessful they may have been, they not only gave up their time and effort, but they tried.

Even if this council only has a duty to its own area, isn't it admirable that they are prepared to consider the opinions of their neighbours too?

It's easy to criticise and knock things. Those who scoff at other's efforts should be ashamed of themselves.

Thanks for posting the Community Council minutes on the main page of this site. Always a good read.
BUT
The Community Council Accounts for 07/08 were presented at the meeting and minuted.

Please could you now post these accounts for all to read. They are a matter of public interest and were publically available at the Comm Council meeting so should be posted as an attachment to the minutes on this site.

No problem I hope.

Dear Long Division,

I only convert the document I am sent from Word format to PDF and post it on the server with appropriate links. I do not edit it in any way.

If this information was not in the minutes and you feel it should have been then I suggest you take it up with the Community Council.

I suppose any one who thinks about the environment cares if there
is a responsible policy for conservation.
Fill in the questionairre but be honest dont give a party political answer

This affects our area and whilst I personally have absolutely no faith in
Politicians or as I have said before the lackeys who interperet these type of documents if everyone leaves it to them we could end up worse off

If it ain`t broke dont fix it but perhaps it is time to post serious comment for once.on this site then let the activists mount an internet campaign

Usually I try to stay out of local discussions (arguments). But I have decided to make an exception in this case. I went and read the questionair. Seems very up-front to me. It seems that the government wants local input on a subject that will effect each and every resident.

Some will say that it is just lip-service and the government is going to do what ever it wants. Maybe true, but there is also the chance that YOUR opinion may make a difference.

Goes with the saying "If you don't speak up, you really can't complain."

Just my opinion, milage may vary.

Cheers

Bob
