The dirty fender things are very suspicious but they look quite handy, I might nip up and pinch a couple for my mussel farm...

So Sally, what did this off-loading rogue look like???

** UPDATE **

It would seem that sufficient pressure has been applied to clean up the "big plastic float" site and have the grass cut.

Thanks to all who contributed........

I don't think so

I heard it was tidied up because the planners are coming for a look.

Thank heavens that ugly area has been cleaned a little. I wonder what is going on? I noticed a lot of people around that stretch today on my way past, a big group. Was this the planning people?

I hear teas and coffees were passed around and open top bus tours were seen to pass by and plans for blue plaques were discussed and only one person was verbally abused it was a success apparently.

Verbal abuse? Was this from the Eastenders chaps then? Whatever happens I hope they keep those black floats and graffiti away..is this the plan for the boat trips? I have heard various stories.

While we are on the topic of the open top bus, it thundered past me near Kilninver hill recently.. I don't think the roads on and surrounding Seil were built for such heavy traffic. Though I suppose it is a success with the tourists, but care should be taken

If true then it is an unusual triumph of common sense over NIMBY-ism.
