Sorry Penty sort of joke to cheer you up;

A New Marine cacptain was assigned to an outfit at a remote post in The Western Isles
During his first inspection he noticed a Seal tied to a pontoon behind the boatshed.
He asks the Sergeant why the seal is kept there. The nervous Sergeant explained that as there were 250 men on the island and no women
and Sir sometimes the men have urges thats why we keep maggie the seal.
The Captain says I can`t say that I condone this but I do understand urges so the Seal can stay.
About a month later the Captain has his own urges he asks the sergeant to bring the seal to the boathouse, plunges into the water and has wild sex with the seal,as he pulls up his drawers he asks the Sergeant
" Is that how the men do it??
"No not really sir they usually ride the seal to Easdale--------- thats where the girls are"

How did they catch the seal?
Why did the girls not go and visit the marine base?
If they have a boat house surely they have a boat?
Why did the captain abuse the seal with a can of mechanicaly rendered meat?
And if they were reduced to eating spam surely eating the seal would have been a more inviting meal.

Oh I see Eric was sharing his lutefisk recipe with the nation via Radio Scotland today......

I thought most of the women on Easdale were of the older age group - retired couples. Were the sailors that desperate or just a bit kinky?

Ah Comrade Seventh?

Did you prefer Lenin before or after Yoko?

Thank you.

I stand corrected. I've had further confirmation that it was a private party in the hall.
It would appear that I'm not mixing in the right circles....... :?

Does anyone know how the accoustics were ?

the acoustics were s**t as before, still nothing been done! as was the lighting, awful.....absolutely no atmosphere.

poor seilsally, you really need to mix more! from memory was it yourself who wasn't invited to the fireworks in Balvicar also? and you thought that too was public, not private!?

ach, twas a good night anyway, but then again, maybe you just had to over indulge on the old booze like myself to forget about the acoustics and lighting?!!
