Mooner, if there was any parties this weekend I'm sure you'd have been invited! You're probably barred from the woolpack and the TT is probably too far for your big moon ass to be dragged to. So if anyone is planning a party in the not so distant future, remember to invite us all along...even poor moonraker...

i believe there was talk of originally making it into 3 holiday cottages and selling it off that way.....not that i listen to rumour, just sit back and enjoy
Keshet, i went for a nosey the other day and yes, it is true the brewery has gone and a lovely piece of wood is in view through the window!
I also have a feeling, (some may say just another rumour) that the brewery is being converted along with the wee flat at the back(staff/daughter accommodation) into a holiday cottage. would b a long wee hoose!!! would any1 fancy that right next to a pub? Apart from CanU that is!!
also, nonny, the food/drink side of things is still up and running and imagine will be for a wee while yet until the booming passing trade has finished!!

Herby Dice wrote:I ate in the OB the other night. Food was, as usual, excellent and copious. Beer was, as always, outstanding. Service was entirely satisfactory - prompt, eficient, cheerful. Aroma was predominantly food and beer, both pretty acceptable aromas for a restaurant, with slight tinges of Scottish Water semi-soiled overalls. The herby dice were all splendid, both the consumed and the consumer.
Great place.
Gee, sometimes even a potato can talk sense! (Ref. Dirty Campers thread)

There was a time on this island not that long ago that locals and incommers from everywhere got on really well. Looks to me like there are a few idiots out to ruin that.
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
