Hi

I'm curious !!

After 48 hrs what percentage of forum members have agreed to the new ' no anonymity rule' and 'signed up' ?

Is it envisaged that previous 'posters' will make the changeover if and when they reply or post a new topic ?

.
There are 257 registered members.

This is a meaningless number however as it includes multiple identities, people who have never posted or have made one post and people who haven't posted for five years or more.

So far I can count a dozen have signed up under their own names/switched to their own names or were already posting under their own names.

Five posters so far have said they are not prepared to post under their own names, but as in each case their main interest in this forum seemed to be to slag me off I can't say I am really bothered.

Time will tell. When people have something they want to say and it is fit to say in public then more will do so. Or this forum will wither and die.

Either way, it should be a lot less grief for me. It is not going back to anonymous posting, so people need to use their real names or no forum - simples.
