The Post Office's own website still gives 5.30pm as the closing time of Balvicar Stores P.O..

Many organisations are notoriously slow at updating their websites . . .

It would appear that this applies equally to Balvicar Store and Post Office. Their website at

has not been updated to reflect any change in opening hours, most confusing for any visitors.

I host and maintain the website for the shop, but I don't normally make changes to clients' sites unless I am given instructions.

In this case I have made an exception and changed the shop opening hours on the home page. I won't change the Post Office hours on the site though unless I get an official request from Mark and Shirley.
