The last sentence in the article is a little surprising. I suspect that the spokesperson had not been informed that it was certainly possible for jounrey arrangments to be made. I wonder who had led them to believe them otherwise. Yet another twist in the tale.

The sheriff in the court case was certainly aware that it would have been possible to attend court and then to proceed to Edinburgh. It was certainly a feeble excuse bordering on contempt.

It is certainly not a good start and the party cannot be happy but surely they were well warned.

A prophet is honored everywhere but in his own country and in his own home.

It isn't a prerequisite but i expect my msp to be intelligent and an intellect and Mike Russel who i voted for fits the bill but the other snp msp does not fit the bill.

Principles and honesty would be nice..or is that asking too much?

I think you are likely to find that these are totally alien concepts as far as our new MSP is concerned. Time will tell.Foxglove wrote:Principles and honesty would be nice..or is that asking too much?

Indeed it do! I see that there are further instalments of this engrossing soap opera over on the Alcatraz People's site.Foxglove wrote:The plot 'sickens'!!
And I just idly wondered whether anyone recognises the personality description of a close-to-home MSP in ForArgyll Newsroom's comment #24:

Was there not something about missing a court hearing in order to present themselves at the parliment??? Not a very good impression for a first day...
