has anyone tried the new takeaway service this season?
11am-11pm now that is a good idea!
what do u think for next year? home delivery with a 16 year old on a scooter zooming around the island? or perhaps a jetski could be moored in easdale and can make trips to seaview, easdale island, balvicar bay, even luing?!?
i personally think it's a great idea for drumming up more business as long as demand is met at peak times?

however, having not tested the new service, can anyone fill me in?

Wouldn't it be just great if someone, young or old, would have the initiative to convert this into a local home-delivery service? Paradise!! Someone, please do it!! :thumbsup :bananas :beer I'll guarantee an order for 2 at least once a week forever!!

Per-leeze!
What else do you want Mona; Tesco home delivery? Dog wardens? CCTV?
Do you really wany to chamge Seil so that it resembles your native East Anglia?
Delivery boys on mopeds criss-crossing the island and delivering curries and burgers fresh to your door!
I say get off your backside and don't long for your carbs to be delivered to your sofa. We live in the most obese nation in Europe, why make it worse?

I'm not proud (or Anglian! or obese!) - I just fancy someone bringin' dinner to my door. What's so wrong with that? Don't tell me no other Seilichans out there don't fancy home delivery too? Tesco home delivery might be useful when I'm old and grey but I certainly don't fancy dog wardens or CCTV, thanks.

CLOSING TIME?

has anyone else heard the rumours about the wooly closing in october - FOR GOOD?? and being changed into a 3 bedroom house?

i wonder if that would come under the category of affordable housing? around about the £400,000 mark that's being asked for the establishment? or maybe it would be knocked off a bit?

would anyone really want to move here if there was only 1 pub left on seil or would the puffer on easdale island become a new alternative? possibly a new excuse for a link to be put in place?

ahhh how the locals would mix then?!?!
