22.57 UFO

Yes I know there was another posting about a wind-up about a 'sight' off Easdale, but, was anybody outside tonight around 23.00 to witness what I can only descibe as the most sensational object I have ever seen in the sky.

It looked like a firework over the hills above Raera that travelled NE to SW, did not diminish in intensity but broke up like a huge firework as it disappeared to the SW.

It looked, sadly, exactly like the break-up of one of the Apollo missions.

I watch the sky often but have never seen anything like this!

Anybody else see this - the police tell me there have been reports from Glasgow and throughout the west of similar sightings.

Please post - this is no wind up like the last'speculation' that was posted here!!!!

And lo, a great light appeared in the sky and we were so afraid it might land on Eilen Easdail and spoil the skimming but we looked and saw it was good stopped above the island and in particular the island's hall.

And, at that exact moment, two wise men, who had travelled from the east, arrived on the last ferry baring gifts of an insurance policy and a suitcase full of 'folders' for the much troubled residents.

And lo, there was much jollity and singing in the Puffer Bar - well for half of them.

Many pilgrims are expected to come and visit, paying homage to the great God Slate and scatter their offering in the quarry.

Sermons will be preached, I heard about a fixed link..............oh all, right that's a bit too far!!!!

Great craic Sleepy, I suppose it's only two wise men in these times of recession.

Looks like it was space debris from a satellite perhaps. There's lots of footage on the various tv news channels and online.

Initial thought we had was why was somebody having a massive firework display in Raera!
