Sleepy...don't know what the trouble is, that's why I'd like to find a 'sensitive' I think they call mediums. I'll tell anybody who is interested what happens myself.

There are no good ones. There are people who do not claim they are psychic, and there are charlatans. The rest are just bonkers.
IMHO.

I disagree Herby, knew an old lady, she died years ago, she definitely had a gift. What is more..she never took payment off anybody, just wanted to help. I imagine people like her [genuine] are few and far between. I'd spot a fake a mile off.

What are we talking here ?
There are people who can communicate with the dead (those who have passed over) and people with second sight who have feelings and intuitions about things which they can't explain, but which generally prove to be accurate.
There are not many communicators with the dead around and certainly not locally here - and some even find it difficult to communicate with the living.
The other sort are not usually happy with this extra perception they have and don't advertise their ability - if they sense you are going to be involved in a fatal car crash in a day or so, it is not very comforting to pass on this information. Mind you, there are several charlatans around who can see an endless stream of good luck coming your way and all it needs is a donation or two from you, to get the spirits moving in your behalf. So I think that the search for a good local medium is doomed to failure.

Jimcee, do you believe that people can communicate with the dead? I just don't know so am keeping an open mind. It was a long shot. hoping I might have got a pm from someone around here who was hiding their psychic light under a bushel :) . There is always the Spiritualist Church in Glasgow to contact...

I have an open mind on the subject of communicating with the dead. Personally I have never managed it, but I have read of some quite convincing mediums who appear to be able to link the living with the deceased.
The thing that bothers me is that it seems to be a one way traffic - all the messages seem to come from the deceased - if the medium is in contact with someone on the "other side", surely a two way conversation should be possible? - as in a telephone link.
I did attend a meeting of the Spiritualist Church in Glasgow for a seance, out of curiosity, and did not get any messages, but there were one or two in the audience who seemed to get some sort of message they recognised.
Possibly the most likely to have any sort of communication (if any is possible) are the recent dead and the recently bereaved.
Personally, an answer to this question will have to wait until I am on the "other side", and I hope to have a telegram from the Queen (or one of her descendants) before then.
