Anyone think it might be a good and just idea to begin a consensual campaign on Seil to withhold, say, 20% of council tax until such time as the Council repairs our dangerously potholed and crumbling roads?

I did say "consensual"! Looks like maybe we law-abiding wimps have the roads we deserve!

In as much as it IS a good idea - but as only maybe 5% of Seil's Cooncil Tax payers actually use this forum and as only maybe 5% of them are likely to participate then numerically just you is probably a good result.

A proposal like this needs the support of the Community Council, but I have never come across a CC who are into civil disobedience - the postion doesn't seem to attract that kind of chap you know . . .
