The article seems to show up the Eilean Eisdeal directors for what they're worth - in my view absolutely nothing.

"The island is a pile of waste slate...so it's not a pretty island." - What a dreadful way to promote the island and tourism! Luckily the photographs in the article prove otherwise and show the reasons for the island's conservation status.

Now there's a turn up for the books ..... after a heated debate of 100+ comments, the newsroom on For Argyll has apologised to Julian Penney, and admitted that Mike MacKenzie MSP had misled them! Curiouser and curiouser!
