Balvicar stores

Post by Sandy MacSeil »

A very hard act to follow! Many thanks to Alistair & Jean for a decade of fantastic service and huge improvements to our local shop. All the very best to them both and to the new owners. Let's all support them. If we don't use it, we'll lose it. I believe there's a farewell do for A & J @ the T&T this Sunday (31st) at 3pm, all welcome. Come back & see us all, A & J, & thanks again. Great job.

We've sailed back across the Sea of the Hebrides to be there on Sunday. :loveseil - sorry Hoopster, can't say we would have done the same for the golf!

As Sandy says, lets give the new owners a huge welcome and lots of support - Alastair and Jean have made it a fantastic wee shop, let's keep it that way for a long time to come.

Know what you mean. Four of the items on my short list were no longer on the shelves yesterday. This meant that I wasted an inordinate amount of time blankly trying to think up alternatives. :?
However, let's give them time to get into the swing of things - plus the odd reminder of what we've gone in there for and can't find any more.
