Just a reminder that in addition to the accommodation and attractions pages in the Seil Island Online directory there is also a Business Directory.

Any local business with a website is entitles to a free entry,so if you know of any business which should be included but isn't then please let us know. (One entry per business - if you are already included eg under Attractions or Islands and Boats then you are not entitled to another entry).

Why on earth would anyone want to bother with this free local business directory when Rory Young is offering us another one with a free windfarm attached? You need to incentivise us, Nick, what are you going to give us? I'm thinking a fusion reactor which will fit in my shed, but am open to negotiation.

Bizarre serendipity that that extraordinary article by Ms Wiener (who she) should come out on ForArgyll almost immediately after I posted this.

Seil Chat already provides a source of hot air for the community completely free of charge - perhaps some enterprising local inventor can find a way to light a few bulbs with it?
