Here's the relevant notice from the Oban Times:novus ordo seclorum wrote: I see that Mr Young is organising a meeting in Kilmelfort on Saturday week. Now that is the place to get our voice heard, but it may be only for parishioners of Kilninver and Kilmelfort within which Clachan Farm is located. Need to check. Very clever sequence in the agenda for that meeting I thought.
.........CLACHAN WIND FARM
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Public meeting to explore the
different options for community involvement
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
A panel from various different independent community groups
around Scotland will give their experiences of community
engagement in their respective wind farm projects.
Meeting to be chaired by Neil Garrard from HIE.
Kilmelford Village Hall
25/09/2010 2.30pm
planning consultation meeting to follow
This is a pretty transparent attempt to soften everyone up before the planning consultation meeting. Perhaps a good percentage of those who sent letters of objection will follow it up by attending the meeting and showing Mr. Young that the residents of Seil and Easdale are not as gullible as he seems to believe.

On another matter, http://www.clachanwindfarm.co.uk was created to act as a focus for any organised oppositon to the windfarm. All there is on there at the moment is some outline information and links, but it can be expanded and used as a focus should any group wish to do so. I will not be adding to it unless there is further interest expressed.
