Holyrood candidates
Well, McGrigor has been declared for the Tories. Who are our Labour, LibDem or SNP candidates? They're all being a bit quiet, aren't they? Anyone know what's happening?
Re: Holyrood candidates
Without wanting to stir things up, can anyone advise me on this -
J. McGrigor is already an MSP under the list system.
Does he still retain this priviledged position even although he is standing under the Tory banner?
In which case he is laughing all the way to the bank - no canvassing needed, even although not top of the poll, back in on the list.
If not, and he loses his list slot what is in it for him - are there some perks for a first past the post member which are deprived to a mere list member? It seems a mighty big gamble.
