Improvement Grant

Post by NickB »

The Community has been offered £600 by Argyll and Bute Council to spend on environmental works, footpaths etc. We have only to come up with a suitable small project . . .

Any ideas?

This has now been used to purchase a Community Notice Board to be placed on the railings in front of the Balvicar Shop. It will be for the use of Community Groups e.g. the Community Council, Royal British Legion, SWRI, the Hall and the Church etc. It should be in place by mid March.

Remember, if you wanted to have some input you could have done it via this forum! This is your chance to make your views and opinions known.

Only got myself to blame, but it hadn't penetrated before now

In Pat's words

.

:? Just exactly how many Bells and Whistles does this confection of £600 worth of joinery/glazing offer us? :?

And, NO, I didn't have any ideas to offer but I'm sure that amount of cash could have been put to better use. What's wrong with the notice board that's there at the moment? It's never full!

I'm confused :?

Where is our all-singing, all-dancing £600 notice board? Haven't they found an expensive enough joiner yet?

Or am I being naive again?
