As the consultation period is now under way now is the time lodge any objections against the CMNP .....so get sending letters or e-mails to Ross Finnie and the SNH and also George Lyon and anybody else you can think of.!!

Although I am against many of the things a national park may bring I feel it is important that everyone who has any interest in the future of the area sends in their views - be it postitive or negative.

A lot of people don't seem to realise that Argyll and the Islands appears to be the frontrunner candidate for the MNP at the moment and the MNP itself is committed to start in 2008. Once we go down this road, for better or (in my opinion) worse there is no going back. I can't think of any National Park in the world that has ever been 'de-parked'
