Anyone else on BT Broadband noticing their connection speed dropping dramatically from late afternoon to mid-evening recently?

i know this is an old post but even now i notice it , from maybe 5 oclock to about 11 the bandwidth drops .

could be something to do with all the kids and their ipods and laptops stealing the tinternet from all us oldies

Could be, but I also think 'oldies' watching TV via the internet play a big part - BBC i-player or BT-Vision. I can't see the situation improving on Seil for quite a while. Pity they didn't sling some fibre optic in the trench when they were putting in the water main.
