Commenting on the Seil sewage scheme in the Oban Times article on the Seil Sabbath Preservation Society's recent direct action, Alan Reid MP allegedly said:

"When the project is completed people will have the choice of whether they remain with their own sewerage via septic tank or whether to pay to hook up to this system"

Is he is referring to people who have not previously paid sewerage rates having these added to their water rates, or is there something we should be told?
