CONSERVATION AREAS QUESTIONNAIRE
Argyll and Bute Council have asked Seil and Easdale Community Council to work in partnership with them and lead the consultation process to review the Ellenabeich and Easdale Conservation Areas and to draft a Management Plan to guide future developments.
The Management Plan will be adopted by the Council and it will be used for supplementary planning guidance and be regarded as a ‘material consideration’ in reaching planning and other corporate decisions. This will have an impact on the lives of all of us and it is important to consider as many opinions as possible in the process.
In order to help us develop this Plan, we have put together a questionnaire which has been based on a range of views expressed at our recent public meeting. Copies of the questionnaire are being delivered to all households on Seil and Easdale Islands and are available on line on this website HERE
We would be grateful if you would help by completing and returning them by 19th September. Please remember to complete your name and address.
Everyone of all ages is encouraged to contribute their points of view. This is an information gathering exercise, not a referendum. If you need more copies you are welcome to make them, download them from the website or they are available from the Secretary. If you need more space for comments, please use a separate sheet of paper.
Your completed questionnaires can be returned to the following ‘collection points’ :-
- · Stuart Reid (Secretary), Torbeag, Clachan Seil, PA34 4TJ Tel: 300311
· Tina Jordan, 55 Easdale Island
· The Heritage Centre, Ellenabeich
· Jim Watson, 24 Ellenbeich
