Coming to your island

Post by Learnerdriver »

Hi.

Whilst filling my work day with more useful activity (booking a holiday and looking up info on Seil), it was inevitable that, giving the return on my google search query, that I'd stumble upon this site & forum.

Anyway, I'm looking for local input on what to see / walks in / on Seil.

Any recommendations? Am willing & used to walking miles & miles up & down hills, in rain & sun.

Also I see a pre-occupation with driving. Tips on etiquette then, please! We have driven on single track roads before, on Mull & Skye, as well as the mainland & in Wales & know all about the use of the layby (stopping to look at flocks of eagles fighting over the remains of dead seals, having a cup of tea, taking photos of locals at work in the fields (to be sent to the DWP!) & so on). Though the car is a stretch humvee...
