A selection of posts over the last 48 hours:
"why the spamming pump hasn't been replaced yet god only knows" (7th Seil)
"I've heard it's not going to be fixed" (Minimum)
"we`ll probably never see it replaced" (KhartoumTeddy)
"the pump will probably not be fixed - indeed, it may be removed altogether"(Minimum)
Doh, doh, and double doh !
Whatever happened to the old Highland trait of patience. Replaced by whingeing, speculation and rumour mongering.
Looks like Spiderman was right.

Referring to the tourist traffic, my personal experience is that some supposed "locals" are by far the most stubborn, arrogant, rude and careless drivers I have seen.
Some do not let faster following vehicles past.
Some look at you in awe if you pull over to allow passing.
Some do not accept that part of the carriageway is single track, preferring to use the verge and expecting the oncoming driver to do the same.
Some do not apparently see you.
No wonder the Balvicar to Clachan road is known by some as "the racetrack"!!

Poor old Sally
The only one who suffers from inconsiderate drivers
Tis time all 4x4s were off the roads
(possible exception real farmers
and Fishermen who have to use beach areas)
How big is this Island
Lets just ban non essential traffic, tourists are not that essential
except perhaps to the pub
If we all used Bikes look at the road rage we would avoid
Think of the eco benefits
NOW SEE THE BROWN STUFF HIT THE FAN TEDDY
