What you mean most of the island drink in the "woolpak" Have you been in there latley it not that busy I would think the T&T is about the same they've had a few things on over the New Year LIVE MUSIC for one and if it wasn't for the darts on a friday night it would be just a dead, i don't think there's much between them - except one shouts louder than the other
I.N.Y.L.S.B...................
Ah the woolpack.....home to a whole host of characters. I hear they plan to start donkey fighting nights along with other traditional Yorkshire entertainments, like grease up the pig and torture the onion, all these of course are far cheaper than hiring a band. Don't forget the highlight of the year, Bernard Manning Idol in which white settlers explain why they moved here...

Re: Oyster Brewery
I have visited the Oyster Brewery twice recently and on both occasions I received a warm welcome, enjoyed a cozy atmosphere, some Oyster Brewery beer and ate some good food. I am wondering if you were in the wrong pub. Anyway Pubs seem to be few and far between in this area so you should not knock it.DosCerveza wrote:Is it true that the brewery has been sold? Will it be made into flats? will it remain a smelly old dive with crap beer or will we end up with something that is of use to the community? ....and with owners who would like to be involved in the community?
So be a good boy and don't be so rude.

Eh?
The T&T seems to be doing just fine whenever I am in there Moonraker - who told you otherwise? Plenty of yachties starting to wander over the hill from Puilladobhrain, plus the usual wheelborn tourists.i dont see the die hards holding up the other establishment
Just as well really, as the OB is too small to get everyone in
