The in-jokes and wee cliques on here reflect the RW community rather well IMO, and are all part of online life's rich pageant. After all, you don't have to read a thread if you don't want to, and there is always the 'ignore' button, installed at great expense to preserve peoples' feelings and stop them leaving in droves.

There are much worse forums than this out there in cyberspace - and if you want the chattering classes of Seil to start intelligent threads you could set a better example than this
