Seems like the council will be throwing more tax payers money at the Ellenabeich/Easdale pier after last nights wee blow?

No doubt it'll cost a few quid for another useless flamstore, gate and re surface?

Why is it that the old part survives anything the sea can throw at it - but the council repaired work maybe lasts two years before being washed away?

Is it not time we built a bridge and be damned - and stop pandering to the whims of the Easdale Island Grant claiming subsidy junkies????

Yes I think the Island should get its fixed link, I wonder what our prospective MP will make of it........perhaps he could help the causeway through planning.
Funny how homes across Argyll losing power has become news.....seems it happen every year!

Seems that a 88% in favour of a bridge.

Perhaps our SNP PPC should include a fixed link to Easdale in his manifesto??

Why not have a community owned toll bridge...that way your lifestyles could still be financed

Just don't get the Squinty Bridge construction company to build it
