You could commit some heinous crime ....and it would be a case of "I afraid I saw nothing officer" ftrom the neighbours.

.......but if a man was to put on a white hard hat ..........or a hi viz jacket .........oe even take a clipboard from the boot of his car the whole island sees it?

Curtain twitching!!! Now they are hiding in bushes.......or breaking the speed limit to do some white hat bothering!!

Why - Whats been going on???????????? Have I missed something should I have been watching for shinny jackets in bushes - sounds exciting I know all the kids at school have been issued with these reflector (yellowish) jackets - but is there something bigger abouts to happen on the Island ???

Went to the pictures last night to watch "I am legend", a film in which big Will Smith is tormented by ugly lumpen people who hide in the shadows. When they do expose themselves to the public they make a high pitched screaming noise, rather like a child if you steal its toy!!

Perhaps the film should be called "I am curtain-twitcher" or "I am Nimby"

No just the sneaky hide in the bushes, writing libelous letters, threaten you with "retaliation" types, as far as I know there aint a neighborhood watch scheme on Seil.....well not one that keeps an eye out for crime anyway.
