What a perfect way to Extirpate Ellenabeich! Why don't they erect a Burger King while they are at it!

'She' is going on about the new street lights that are going up in Ellenabeich.

I heard they are only going up so they can be 'sacrificed' when the Council has to make cuts next year.

N.B. seems to have his ears closer to the ground (as does the lady from the original posting) but what is all this hoo-ha about street lights and Burger Kings ( or even a McDonald's) in that conservation outpost of Seil on the Atlantic side. As one who thought that he had a fair idea of current activities (as apparently did Bill McD), could someone out there with some more inside knowledge, please explain the background to this peculiar situation?
