Wow!! Mr "NOS" Calm down man, I'm assuming your a man but since you don't have the courage to post under your own name I can't tell.

If you read my post carefully, which you didn't, you'll see I was drawing attention to an article in the Guardian and suggesting that BOTH sides of the debate should have a look.

As for getting over it?, no it's not over because 45% of the voters did vote yes and such a percentage cannot be ignored.

I'm also interested in your use of the "Royal We". in your post i.e. "we don't want it" It suggests an arrogance on your part that has been typical of the "NO" lot throughout.

So. Mr "NOS", be a man/woman and post under your real name like everybody else. (if you dare !!!)

Sorry Bill, no posting under assumed names is allowed.

That is not going to change any time soon - and I think NOS's outbursts show why.

He/she is happy to post stuff under an assumed name - including what sounded to me like an ultimatum or threat to the moderator - that he/she would never dream of posting under his/her real name.

Herby apparently moderated it by editing the post to remove the original content and replace it with a reminder that only posts under real names would be permitted. Sadly Herby forgot to lock the post, thus allowing NOS to re-edit it as in the quotes below:

3. Back to topic; Bill, get over it and move on. Less than 38% of the Scottish electorate voted for independence. We don't want it ! If you want to make ours a fairer society go on and do it...volunteer, donate, work etc. Its not some jumped up egocentrics in Edinburgh or London who will make things better for all but us, locally, who will. Do something yourself Bill and don't whine on with your conspiracy theories as an excuse for your own inaction.

Here's my view and reply:

I have been away, but I see NOS that you have chosen to delete Herby's very considerate moderation of your post. Not only that, but you have responded with what I remember as your typical arrogant and unpleasant tone.

Myself and any moderation member or team I appoint will edit any post we want to edit however we see fit.

NOS will NOT be posting on this forum again.

I have deactivated the account.
