A great Scottish political figure and a very brave woman gone - a tragedy she will not be with us on September 19th.
Her Govan victory in 1973 was what originally sparked my interest in Scottish politics.
Her Assisted Suicide (Scotland) Bill will continue to go through Holyrood, with Green MSP Patrick Harvie now spearheading the proposed legislation.

Agreed. She was one of a kind who never allowed others to influence what she believed in.
