What's going on?

It is interesting to read through the letters of objection and the (much smaller number of) letters of support for this application. It is an issue that is obviously inflaming passions over there in the West.

It occurs to me that all these people are prepared to express their opinions - with their real names attached - on the planning website, yet none of them apparently feel comfortable discussing local issues on here under their real names.

Just an observation . . .
