Re: Scottish Hydro prices
Thanks Jim for the update. Just in case there is anyone else going through the tortuous process of trying to fix a tariff I will bring up to date my own experience. After numerous phone calls and some filling in of web forms I received a welcome pack from Scottish Hydro and a contract showing the un...

Re: Leslie Riddoch - Blossom - is at 7.30pm on Wednesday
I agree with most of Jimcee’s points as well as supporting Longshanks’s suggestion but I would hesitate to voice any criticism of those who run the forum as I know that dissent here can invoke punishment. Re: Is this a Community Forum or not ?

I have enjoyed reading this forum for a while now but lately I have perceived a change of tone to the extent that there is an aspect of intimidation...

Re: Tigh an Truish - A holidaymakers point of view!
As a new resident on Seil I would like to say that we have been in the T&T on several occasions and enjoyed the food, the beer and the service. We are certainly not recognized as locals but have received friendly service, water and biscuits for our dog and feel very welcome. On the other hand th...

Don’t know if its relevant but we are near the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. These clear nights should provide a good view to the North East…
