Re: A Future Fair For All.
It's a shame, Minimum. Shame on them. But I've been called a 'Scotch git' in England and frequently been outnumbered and lectured at here on the Joys of the Union, especially in the old Inshaig days. The SNP has always welcomed everyone regardless of their country of origin, religion, colour (includ...

Ach, Maggie you can join my secret society any day. Membership of 1 so far.
But I think there's something called 'the eastern star' for aspiring female goat clappers, maybe Sleepy can elucidate since he seems to move in these exalted circles.

Re: A Future Fair For All.
Dear Maggie, Thanks for the information. I'd never heard of the Scottish Defence League so I visited their website which was rather like stepping on something unpleasant. Re: A Future Fair For All.
Dear me, Maggie: 'corrupt and incompetent political parties'? Remember BNP Nick's performance on Question Time?!
Do you think he offers 'a future fair for all'? Do you really want to encourage him?
Be careful lest you get what you vote for.

Re: A Future Fair For All.
The BNP is an English disease. Please don't contaminate Scottish politics with that.

Re: Luing Causeway
Gee, thanks for the welcome. Aye, I live here, a single personality with multiple issues.
On a lighter note I was going to suggest swinging a bucket between the pylons on an endless rope but that would be silly so I won't.
It's as sensible as a closed causeway though.

Re: Luing Causeway
Closing off Cuan Sound is nonsensical for reasons already mentioned and what about the possible effects on the coastal erosion at Ellenabeich and Easdale Island?
