It is pretty easy for anyone to register for Seil Chat with a 'real' sounding name that is actually a pseudonym . . . there have been a (very) few incidents where this has happened. Obviously any attempts to get round the 'real names' policy will be detected and thwarted whenever possible.
Occasionally - if it is not a name I recognise and a search of the local and Lomond and Argyll phone directories does not turn up a likely match - I may have to ask for some kind of verification.
